One more thing that makes the S-Max practical is the boot. With 1170liters of maximum capacity (2000liters without the back seats) it is an ideal car for weekend family trips.
To sum up this vehicle has something to offer for everyone. So, I will most probably go with a daily van hire package. The rates seem quite competitive compared to some other companies and so I can’t see it costing me too much money. The good thing is they only need 24 hours notice before I an actually go and collect the van. GAP Insurance, road tax and a replacement vehicle is guaranteed (I couldn’t help but think of the word ‘irony’ for this last point). There is no minimum rental period required and so the rate is charged per day. If I have the van for more than 28 days though – I then get charged the monthly rate, which is fair enough I suppose. Let’s hope that Mercedes can fix things quickly as I don’t really want to be driving around in an old ford transit for too long.
